Two teams fresh from the draw, heroic Humans: Wolfenburg Wanderers verses despised Dark Elves: The Cursed
Not many Wanderers fans made it down to the nether regions, and the ones that did where greeted with Rain. It pissing down from the first kick to the final winning touchdown by Beelzebub

Choosing to kick, the Cursed held a tight line across the field, cutting down Sebastian when he made a break through. Eventually the inevitable Dark Elf curse kicked in, and the Wanderers made a break deep into the Cursed half and Konrad perfectly (well the second time) lobed the ball to Sebastian. Who shrugged off a desperate long rage blitz and danced the ball in, leaving the Cursed 3 turns to equalise.
As the Wanderers injuries and bench filled up, the Cursed moved their cage down the pitch only for it to end up slightly too far from the Line for a comfortable Touchdown (one could say that Humpty has spent too long coaching Humans). Running as far as he could (and through a catcher), Hasatan positioned himself to perfectly catch a throw from Beelzebub who was sprinting down the pitch behind him. Half-time score 1-1, the Wanderers suffering one casualty.
The second half started with some of the Wanderers staying in the dry and refusing to come out of the KO box. Initially it looked OK for the Wanderers with a defensive blitz but this allowed the Wanderers to crowd surf Sebastian, and so the game went, one by one, brave men falling under the relentless blows of the Elves, as a gloating Beelzebub sat with the ball just short of the touchline. ...
